BiB

What is a BiB?

Bag-in-Box or BiB is a type of container for the storage and transportation of liquids.
It consists of a plastic bag usually made of several layers of metallised film A tap is connected to the bag from which liquids, i.e. red,-, white, or rosé-wine is drawn,

Several excellent BiB (Bag-in-Box) wines at affordable prices are produced in the World but their traditional packaging and presentation does not present well in all kitchens and often leaves a rather negative impression of the wine which it does not deserve.

The BiB has several advantages

Wine has 2 great ennemies; air and light.

BiB wine is vaccum packed, the non-transparent bag avoids light to damage the wine and can therefore be preserved much longer than bottled wine.

The wine is drawn off through the tap thanks to the atmospheric pressure and will never get in contact with air.

The card board box is recyclable

For each 3L BiB 4 glass wine bottles are saved - no return to shops with empty bottles.
